Purpose
The purpose of the Peacemaking/Social Justice Committee is to:

• challenge each congregation to make a commitment to peacemaking in all its ramification;

• express in manifold ways the church's commitment to justice in all aspects of life;

• assist the Presbytery in living out the injunction in Micah 6: "to act justly, to love tenderly, and to walk humbly with your God."
