EXAMINED and enrolled Bobby Lippert (College Hill) as a candidate for the ministry of the Word and sacrament 

EXAMINED and approved Kimberly Warwick (candidate, Newton Presbytery) for ordination and approved her call as Pastor, Williamsburg First 

APPROVED the sale of three parcels of land by Sycamore  

APPROVED Eastminster's lease of some of its facilities to Madisonville Education and Assistance Center 

DESIGNATED ministers as Members at-large as they conclude their service to congregations:

  • Gary Brose (former Interim Pastor, Williamsburg First)

  • Lloyd Dunavant (former Interim Pastor, Batavia)

  • Patricia Linnemann (former Pastor, Calvary and Fairfax)

  • Frank Wyche (former Designated Pastor, White Oak)

APPOINTED Rhonda O'Reilly (member at-large) as Moderator, Cleves Session and Kevin Stainton (pastor, Heritage) as Moderator, White Oak Session

OBSERVED LENT by sharing a Simple Meal followed by worship including the Lord's Supper

COMMISSIONED

  • GA Commissioners:  Christine Harrison (elder, Carmel), Tren Meyer (elder, Wyoming), Rhonda O'Reilly, and Russell Smith (pastor, Covenant-First)

  • Youth Advisory Delegate:  Miguel Carlin (Community of Faith)

  • Alternate Commissioners:  Erwin Goedicke and Nancy Schmidt

COMMISSIONED Meg Doerzbacher (elder, Harrison First; Chair, Presbytery's Peacemaking and Social Justice Committee) as she travels to Israel and Palestine 

APPROVED a covenant agreement between the Presbytery of Cincinnati, K'anhab'al Presbytery and the Synod of Living Waters for the establishment of a water purification system in Guatemala

HEARD an update from the Transformation Team

DISMISSED administrative commissions that installed Susan Quinn Bryan as Pastor, Mt. Auburn and Michelle James and Tom James as Co-pastors, Glendale First

AUTHORIZED the Presbytery Council to confirm the Moderator's appointment of a new member to the Pleasant Ridge Administrative Commission

CONTINUED the presbytery's practice of increasing racial ethnic diversity among its voting members by requesting each of the following churches to elect two elder commissioners:  Bond Hill, Carmel, Kennedy Heights, Korean, Third, West Cincinnati and Winton Hills Community

CONFIRMED the Moderator's appointment of James Brazell (pastor, Sharonville), Lashuna Meatchem (West Cincinnati), Tim McQuade (pastor, Loveland), and Nancy Ross-Zimmerman (associate pastor, Northminster) to serve as an Investigating Committee for accusations filed against a member of the presbytery

HEARD that the Pleasant Run Session and Patricia Brown have filed a remedial complaint against the Presbytery of Cincinnati et al.

NOTED that General Assembly Stated Clerk Clifton Kirkpatrick has thanked the presbytery for its faithful stewardship in 2005
