The Presbytery of Cincinnati met at Georgetown Presbyterian Church on July 12, 2005. Here is a summary of what we did at the meeting

This is what we did:

Shared joys and concerns.

Worshipped throughout the meeting with the singing of hymns. Each was introduced with an explanation of its origin.

Approved a synod loan for Community of Faith Presbyterian Church to make improvements to its Ludlow facility.

Examined and approved Kris Moore for ordination as a Minister of the Word and Sacrament and called her as pastor of Cranston Memorial Presbyterian Church.

Approved changes in calls:

• the Rev. Cecil Albright from Genesee Valley Presbytery to pastor, Immanuel Presbyterian Church

• the Rev. David Ealy from St. Augustine Presbytery to associate pastor, Lakeside Presbyterian Church

• the Rev. Daniel Watson from pastor, Pleasant Run Presbyterian Church to interim pastor, Pleasant Ridge Presbyterian Church.

Elected presbytery officers

• Moderator Rebecca Lindsay (elder, Community of Faith Presbyterian Church)

• Vice Moderator Erwin Goedicke (pastor, North Presbyterian Church)

• Chair of Council Stephen Gorman (co-pastor, Westwood First Presbyterian Church)

Elected over 70 people to serve on presbytery boards, committees, and councils. 

Elected board president and committee chairpersons.

Board of Trustees - Susan Ingmire (elder, Mt. Auburn Presbyterian Church)
Ecclesiastical Affairs Committee - Jim Steiner (associate pastor, Madeira-Silverwood Presbyterian Church)
Equipping & Pastoral Care Committee - Ralph Campbell (elder, Calvin Presbyterian Church)
Evangelism & Church Development Committee - Pat Limbach (Mt. Washington Presbyterian Church) - Russell Smith (pastor, Covenant-First Presbyterian Church)
Committee on Ministry - Frank Wyche (designated pastor, White Oak Presbyterian Church)
Nominating Committee - Faye Burdick (elder, Mt. Auburn Presbyterian Church)
Peacemaking & Social Justice Committee - Meg Doerzbacher (elder, First Presbyterian Church in Harrison) - Kevin Murphy (at-large)
Committee on Preparation for Ministry - Tom York (pastor, Knox Presbyterian Church)
Theology & Worship Committee - Karl Zinsmeister (Mt. Washington Presbyterian Church)

Confirmed the Moderator's appointment of members to the Administrative Commission that is working with Korean Church: Ministers Yvette Dalton (associate presbyter), Jean Holmes (stated supply, Christ Presbyterian Church), Kevin Stainton (pastor, Heritage Presbyterian Church), and Daniel Watson (pastor, Pleasant Run Presbyterian Church), and Elders Jan Dixon (Reading-Lockland Presbyterian Church) and Curt Hopkins (Heritage Presbyterian Church)
