HEARD reports from the presbytery's commissioners and youth advisory delegate to the 217th General Assembly, which was held in June.

WELCOMED Crescent Springs Presbyterian Church to the presbytery.

SHARED joys and concerns.

EXAMINED and enrolled Rhoda Brumfield (College Hill) and Michelle Bacon (Glendale First) as candidates for the ministry of the Word and sacrament.

HEARD about actions taken by the Committee on Ministry on behalf of the presbytery.  They included changes in calls:
            Gary Brose to stated supply, Christ
            Lloyd Dunavant to pastor, Salem
            Allan Lane to pastor, Batavia First
            Robert Agnew from pastor, Wyoming to Presbytery of Chicago
and designation of Members at-large upon completion of service:
            Susan Duker, former designated pastor, Oak Hills
            Gary Hartoin, former associate pastor, Crestview
            Jean Holmes, former stated supply, Christ
            Charles Myser, former pastor, Union
            Peter Reed, former interim pastor, Salem

APPROVED changes in terms of call for ministers serving in installed positions. 

ENROLLED Michael Brewer (pastor, Crescent Springs) as a member of the presbytery. 

VALIDATED Stephen Eyre's ministry as Executive Director and Church Consultant with Church Discipleship Services. 

COMMISSIONED Lay Pastor Robert Obermeyer (elder, Batavia) to serve at Sardinia First.

HELD a "Speak Out" for people to express their views about actions General Assembly took in June.

HEARD about mission opportunities and accomplishments:
            PresbyMADE Day on October 28
            Summer 2006 Kanhab'al Partnership Visit

APPROVED an Exploration & Feasibility Grant for Christ Church. 

ENCOURAGED congregations to participate in the Peacemaking Offering

GRANTED permission for Knox Church to secure loans for building additions.

RE-ELECTED Janis Alling Adams (elder, Mt. Auburn) to serve a 3-year term as Stated Clerk, Presbytery of Cincinnati.

ELECTED or re-elected members to presbytery Council, committees, and boards including chairs:
Board of Trustees (President):  Susan Ingmire (elder, Mt. Auburn) Ecclesiastical Affairs - Jim Steiner (associate pastor, Madeira-Silverwood)
Equipping & Pastoral Care - Chris White (stated supply, Norwood)            Evangelism & Church Development - Lowell Bowie (elder,Sycamore)
Mission & Mission Interpretation - Mark Wright (pastor, Kennedy Hgts)
Nominating - Faye Burdick (elder, Mt. Auburn)
Smaller Membership Church - Marsha Webster (temp supply, Dayton First)
Stewardship - Lowell Bernardino (elder, Mt. Auburn).

DISMISSED administrative commissions that installed James DiEgidio as General Presbyter, Presbytery of Cincinnati and Kimberly Warwick as Pastor, Williamsburg First.
