Purpose
The purpose of the part-time Church Administrator is to supervise

Scope

Head-of-Staff and the Associate Pastor, the Church Administrator is
broadly responsible for:

Duties and Responsibilities
Financial Management
In partnership with the Pastor(s), the chairperson of Finance

Church Administrator is responsible for:
• Financial administrative support to the Church Treasurer
• Accurately updating and keeping the general ledger using financial
software
• Collating and preparing accounts payable.
• Preparing monthly financial reports for the Staff, Session,
Treasurer, and Stewardship Chair
• Providing information requested about specific committee and
ministry spending to Committee Chairs on a regular basis
• Facilitating the processing of the monthly payroll for church
staff and preschool program.
• Collecting monthly rentals as well as fees for functions,
weddings, and funerals.
• Prepares annual budget in the Fall of each year in coordination
with the Finance Committee, Ministry Teams, and Session

• Supervision of and liaising with custodial and maintenance staff.
• Scheduling and liaising with Sunday morning youth attendants.
• Inventory and ordering of supplies
• Scheduling groups and rooms and maintenance of church calendar for

The Church Administrator may also be responsible for other duties,
as assigned by the Pastor and Session.
Job Requirements
• To be considered for this position, a candidate should be a person
of a dedicated Christian faith, demonstrate a track record of strong
leadership, a dedication to serving others, and a commitment to
working both alone and as part of a team to accomplish goals and
objectives. Strong interpersonal skills, the ability to empathize,
and superior oral and written skills are desired.
• The successful candidate will be adept at multi-tasking. Some
management experience in a volunteer-driven organization will be
considered as a major plus.
• Accuracy and precision are important aspects of this job. The
candidate must have some financial background including current
knowledge of accounting practices and bookkeeping systems as well as
familiarity with desktop publishing.
• Computer skills should be current and the candidate should have a
basic understanding of desktop maintenance procedures, computer
networks, database management, and printer and copier maintenance.
• Knowledge of the MS Office suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint),
financial accounting software, Email, the Internet, as well as prior
administrative experience are essential.

services each Sunday.
3. Prepare the service scripts and technical scripts to be used by
other leaders and volunteers
4. Recruit and develop volunteers as needed for set design, drama,
communion, and other artistic or special elements of Crosspoint
worship.
5. Deliver all necessary information to the Communications
Coordinator for bulletin preparation.
6. Conduct weekly Crosspoint planning and evaluation meetings.
7. Supervise Crosspoint staff and volunteers.
8. Attend weekly staff meetings and retreats when possible.
9. Work with the Volunteer Captain to recruit and train volunteers
for greeting, ushering, prayer teams, food service, room
preparation, clean-up, etc.
10. Work with the Technical Coordinator to: a) Provide for the
preparation of graphics and texts for worship slides; b) Recruit and
develop volunteers to cover the audio/visual and lighting
responsibilities; c) Assure the maintenance of all technical
equipment: computers, screens, sound board, lighting, cameras, etc.
11. Provide for the maintenance of equipment, the stage area,
Crosspoint supplies, storage space, and the control booth.
12. Develop and oversee the annual budget for Crosspoint.
13. Assist with additional worship services (e.g. funerals,
weddings, seasonal, etc.) when requested by the pastoral.

Presbyterian Church (COF) is seeking an Interim Pastor.
COF is located at the junction of Covington and Ft. Wright, KY, at
1400 Highlands Ave. Our congregation of about 100 is mostly elderly
members with a few younger couples and their toddlers. Approximately
30 to 50 attend regularly.
Adult ministries include Sunday School and Bible Studies.
Unfortunately we have no children in Sunday School. Our mission
outreach includes devotional time at an afterschool program in
Ludlow, KY. The afterschool program (CLASP) was founded by COF after
the merger of the Ludlow and Covington Presbyterian Churches in
2000. Our mission in Nicaragua has been a very active and vital part
of our outreach for over ten years.
Our paid staff consists of an administrative assistant and a music
director. The Chin Calvary Baptist Church (Burmese immigrants) uses
our church facilities for worship on Sundays starting at 2 PM. More
