Presbyterian Church, a small Northern Kentucky congregation of
about 200 members situated near I-75 and Buttermilk Pike, is
currently seeking someone to fill the position of Administrative
Assistant. Our previous staff member is leaving but will be
available to train the successful applicant.
Here are the basics:
- Strong interpersonal skills, confidentiality, computer and
organizational skills
- 20 hours / week (wage range based on experience)
- 4 days / week with some flex time
- Provide administrative assistance to Pastor and Session
- Do reception, electronic filing, program support, & desktop publication
of church periodicals: weekly church bulletin, e-mail
communications
with congregation, Session, etc.
- Prior church experience desirable but not necessary

Administrative
Assistant - part-time
Union Presbyterian
Church a small Northern Kentucky congregation of about 200
members situated in Union KY, is currently seeking an Administrative
Assistant.
This is a part-time position, budgeted at 20 hours per week, with
flexible schedule. Wages are $10 - $12 per hour, commensurate with
skills and experience. No additional benefits are included.
The Administrative Assistant reports directly to the church Pastor.
Responsibilities include reception, word processing (e.g., church
newsletter and bulletin preparation), bookkeeping, payroll
preparation for church staff, and general office and program
support. Candidates must be self-motivated, have excellent
communication and organizational skills, and be able to exercise
sound judgment and work with discretion. Prior church experience
desirable but not required.

Children’s Music Director
- part-time (minimum of 20
hours/month)
The Presbyterian
Church of Wyoming seeks an individual who is passionate
about teaching and sharing music with children. The
Children’s Music Director plans, coordinates, selects
repertoire and rehearses the children’s choirs and, when
needed, youth groups. The vocal and instrumental music
selected is to provide spiritual inspiration to the children
and to the congregation and to provide instruction in the
basics of music fundamentals. The Children’s Music Director
will also work with and teach children to use Orff
instruments and Hand Chimes in addition to vocal work.
The Children's Choir is made up of first through sixth
graders and meets on Wednesday evening 6:30-7:30 p.m. during
the school year. The children sing once a month during one
of the Sunday services. Wednesday evening practice is also
used to prepare for the Christmas musical and the spring
musical.
The Preschool/Kindergarten Choir practices twice a month on
Sundays during the 10 a.m. Sunday School hour for 20 minutes
and participates in the Christmas and spring musicals and
once quarterly during one of the Sunday worship services.

Contemporary Worship Music
Leader -- part-time
Leader/accompanist for ensemble and congregational singing for
the Rejoice!
Worship Service (Contemporary) at
Westwood First
Presbyterian Church.
Position Requirements: strong, enthusiastic commitment to
Jesus as Lord; ability to lead, develop and nurture laity
musical skills, familiarity with contemporary Christian music;
ability to evaluate music for Reformed theological soundness and
"sing-ability" by congregation; skills in recruiting and
rehearsing musical groups; experience required in leading or
singing in contemporary choir or worship service; strong keyboard and/or piano skills.
Hours and salary: first Sunday of each month - 10:15 a.m.
worship contemporary service; monthly rehearsal during the week
prior to worship service; 2-3 hours per month for meetings with
Director of Music or Worship and Music Committee and Planning
Team for Rejoice Worship Service; preparation time as needed. Salary to be negotiated based
on experience, academic background and number of participating

Director of Christian Education

The following full-time position deals with the
breadth of Christian Education with emphasis on working with the
volunteers who lead our Sunday School, Middle and High School
Youth Groups, Young Adult Fellowship (ages 18 – 32) and Adult
Discipleship Classes.
We are
seeking that person who:
- is a strong, mature Christian,
passionate about people of all ages growing in their faith.
- is a self-starter and well organized in
short and long range planning.
- is a “people-person” who enjoys working
with others, listening to their ideas and concerns and
helpful in putting mutual concerns into practice. - desirable: academic background or
professional experience in Bible/theology,
education/ministry, administration/leadership training.
The major tasks of this ministry include:
- recruiting, training and providing
oversight of all volunteers
- working with the Christian Education
Committee and church staff.
- discovering and organizing various
curriculum in use.
- guiding the volunteers toward local
mission opportunities and mission trips.
- communicating with families and the
larger church
- administration of these Christian
Education programs, especially Sunday School.
